@Ark Avilon Zoo

Ark Avilon Zoo is an interactive zoo located in Pasig near Tiendesitas. Dana's turning 3 years old this August and we thought that this is the right time for a trip to a zoo, she loves animals, she can name it when she sees one, either on TV or on her iPad. I told her that we will take her to Manila zoo, and that was last month, getting her ready so she won't be afraid of the different animals that she'll see/meet. After reading some reviews ,we decided to bring her to Ark Avillon Zoo instead,  a DAY FULL of FUN and INTERACTION with Animals.

We went there around 11:30 am, (i know it's almost a lunchtime. There weren't that many people. A ticket costs P300/ adult and P200 if you're a kid, free for 1 year and below.

...the facade...

...i like how their name was designed. sooo cute..

This is how the inside looks like, there is a feeding booth where you can buy foods for some animals (ranges from 10 to 50 pesos each) , stuffs like toys, balloons and memorabilia. At the ground floor, there were different animals inside their cages, you can see them through the window glass, at that time, most of them were sleeping, could be coz it's their syesta time already.

After checking all the animals on their cages, Dana spotted this cute fluffy BIG dog, she can't take her eyes off it, she loves the dog, as in... She's touching it, amazed on his fluffy hair and his size. much bigger than her..(good thing the dog is kind and behave. i think he got used to people approaching him and taking pictures) ... bad thing that we wasn't able to ask his name.

Here are some photos of birds located at the ground floor. They have their own place, they were all behave and not so rude even if lot of people were taking their pictures, maybe they got used to it, they are the center of attraction anyway. There's an eagle, owl and parrots. We took photos with the parrots. My hubby was brave and excited to put the big Parrot on his shoulder, and of course our Dana should have one too, so there's lil birdie on her shoulder as seen below.

.

Then we went upstairs, where some farm animals like deer, goat, pig , rabbits, snakes, big lizards and so on were located at. We decided to feed the rabbits/guinea pigs with a carrot (costs 20 each). Dana enjoyed it so do I. They are sooooo hungry as in..hehehe

a wishing well.

And when we finally decided to eat lunch and went downstairs, we saw a huge yellow snake. Taddaaaan, of course we didn't miss the chance to take a picture with the behave snake.hehe. Daddy was not afraid and put the snake on his shoulders. then Dana was not afraid to touch the snake too, she's amused on how it feels touching a snake.

We ate lunch nearby (@Tiendesitas) then after we decided to roam around the zoo for the 2nd time, and then we met Jenny the orangutan. She was nice and friendly. Dana was kinda afraid of her first but they get along really well after few minutes of aloofness.

We also went where the crocodile and some big fishes located at (still @ the ground floor). We then feed the carps (costs 30/ container). Dana enjoyed it.

And we decided to call it a day. Tiring but enjoyable ZOO day.
